Just accepted a (hopefully) useful paper in the open-access journal Earth System Science Data to present an open-access spatial dataset of forest disturbances in Europe in the period 2000-2018. More than 80,000 polygons delineated by local forest authorities and for the first time harmonised and presented as a single geodatabase.
Scientists are now kindly invited to download and use this dataset!
The work was developed with the contribution our PhD candidate Matteo Pecchi during its stay at the Joint Research Centre in Ispra (VA) in the framework of the forest@risk project.
