Climate conditions are one of the most important factor that influence tree species distribution.
This interesting question has always been the subject of in depth studies and today the importance of them is considerably increasing as the consequence of climate change phenomena.
The knowledge of the distribution of species is on the base of every strategy of conservation and management.
We are working on:
- Current tree species distribution on the base of actually climate conditions;
- Hypothetic tree species distribution on the base of different climate scenarios established by IPCC.
