Today in Firenze at geoLab we had the kick off meeting of this new project GO SURF- “SUPPORTO DECISIONALE ALLA PIANIFICAZIONE FORESTALE SOSTENIBILE”.
The SURF Strategic Plan will use the Decision Support System in order to demonstrate to forest owners, land managers and forest-wood industry operators the possibility to initiate sustainable forest management more adapted to the complex problem of maximizing the production of ecosystem services.
