Do you work with spatial data and need to improve your skills? Are you involved in a project and need to manage a huge amount of remote sensed data but don’t know how to do it? This school is what you need!
Learn coding in Google Earth Engine environment and become able to process Remote Sensing data at a global scale.
Google Earth Engine Summer School will start on Monday 09/06 with an introduction by Professor Gherardo Chirici from geoLAB – Laboratory of Forest Geomatics. Then, the participants will form groups based on their skills and interests, to work on the realization of a GEE app until Friday 09/10.
From Tuesday to Thursday, from 9 am to 1 pm, lessons and practical exercises will focus on Google Earth Engine coding, images elaboration, remote sensing techniques, and more. Every afternoon, working groups activities will take place from 3 pm to 6 pm.
On Friday, an online open session will be held for everyone to attend. Moreover, students’ groups will present their final Google Earth Engine application.
Ice-break, a social dinner, and a tour of Firenze will be organized for the students to enjoy our beautiful city.
